New animals on the market give a discriminating user a wide choice of materials that can be used to create professional documents. Among transparent covers our largest seller is still the traditional clear glossy 10mil vinyl. While this is a good workhorse cover, vinyl is a soft material and subject to scratching, finger marks are always a problem and the static inherent in vinyl plastic quickly attracts lint. All three of these will detract from the image of your presentation and tend to get worst with time. For this reason, we recommend that our customers chose the "frosty" version film vinyl cover. The problem may still be there, but the frosting hides it. The frosting does not affect the transparency and still allows text or pictures to be clearly viewed. Many of our customers in the cutting edge industries like the more textured covers with diagonal stripes or boiler plate crystal patternedcrosses because they carry a modern aggressive image. They are also available in various tinted colors which can improve the unique image of your presentation by adding a splash of color. Where a high quality image is desired the user may wish to consider the thicker polypropylene materials in either 20 or 30mils (as composed to normal vinyl covers which are usually 10mil). Thickness tends to equate to quality in a customers mind. It also adds body and stiffness to the product and is thus often used in 11x17 presentations where the thinner 10mil materials feel wimpy. Both vinyl and polypropylene covers can be gold (or other color) stamped.
